The Vote is to Let the request for higher Mill rate increase be put on the ballot and let the people of Montgomery County decide. Isn't that the American way? If most of the people feel the way most of You do in this thread, then go Vote No!! , But you can't say You believe in the American way and deny Americans the right to vote on an issue😳 What America does not want the People involved in the process . It has been over 50 years sine Montgomery County Alabama School System has increased there funding. I say it is time to. What say you?

Saturday Mar 07, 2020
Being a new Mayor is a tough road all by itself, Add to that a whole Legislative Body, State Senate and House of Representatives who have made it their Number 1 Priority to stop You from taking this Historic City in a direction it has never gone, One of equitable resource distribution so that all parts of the City of Montgomery gets equal treatment, which in my 28 yrs here has never happened. There are 26 Cities who have had the Authority to impose a Occupational Tax to raise funds for their Cities. But as soon as The Mayor and City Council Members of the City of Montgomery , Alabama try to impose one the whole State Government of Alabama "Stopped" them. But figure this, none of the other 26 Cities In Alabama were told they could not have theirs. So People of Montgomery are asking "Is it Color"? if it is not, then why let others do what Montgomery can't?. Listen to the Mayor hear his thoughts on this and other issues.

Saturday Feb 22, 2020
A conversation about moving Montgomery Alabama forward and one of the ways to do that is imposing an "Occupational Tax". The conversation is firm and interesting. To add to the problem in the Alabama Legislature House and Senate , want to stop Montgomery from imposing such a tax. What is at odds here is there are 26 cities in Alabama that have it. But since Montgomery wants it to sure up a revenues stream for Montgomery now are politicians want to stop Montgomery from doing what others are doing (26 cities ). So the plan is stop Montgomery, But let the other 26 cities keep theirs.
